✨ We celebrated Book Day at AIS! 

Our school was filled with stories, imagination, and a love for reading.

From fascinating tales to unforgettable adventures, our students enjoyed a special day exploring the wonderful world of books. 

Encouraging the habit of reading is essential for learning and creativity.

Thank you to everyone who participated and shared their passion for books! 

It is very hard to achieve anything without hard work and effort, certainly not anything worth celebrating. Miss Zhe continues to set the standard with her work effort and positive 'can do' attitude. Mizz Zhe and the students of grades 6 and 7 put on a lovely show for the students in the Primary Years Programme, followed by art and crafts activities in the foyer of the school. 

We were also fortunate to have representatives from both the Chinese embassy and Asker Kommune in attendance, with Mayor Lene Conradi continuing her support of Asker International School, sharing in this celebration with us. 

Congratulations once again to Miss Zhe. Happy new year 2025. We wish everyone a prosperous year of the snake! 

This week, our school hosted a vibrant art exhibition where our talented students showcased their creative masterpieces to their proud parents. The event transformed our cafeteria into a colorful gallery! Each piece told a unique story, reflecting the students' individual perspectives and the skills they have honed throughout the year. Parents were visibly moved as they admired the dedication and passion evident in their children's work, making the evening a memorable celebration of artistic expression and community spirit. Thanks to our talented artists and art teachers!

Asker International School believes that most conflicts can be addressed effectively if they are addressed immediately and in person. We encourage parents not to wait if they have a concern or a question. This is especially important in terms of any suspicion of bullying. All reported bullying cases are immeditely flagged to the school principal, who then records the matter in accorance with paragraph 9 of opplæringsloven.

The first point of contact related to any concern is the teacher or staff member in question. All staff members have the same email structure except the principal. If your question or concern is not addressed in a satisfactory manner, you can then email the head of department, or the coordinator if it is related to the curriculum. Their addresses are as follows:
