Complaints Procedure

Asker International School believes that most conflicts can be addressed effectively if they are addressed immediately and in person. We encourage parents not to wait if they have a concern or a question. This is especially important in terms of any suspicion of bullying. All reported bullying cases are immeditely flagged to the school principal, who then records the matter in accorance with paragraph 9 of opplæringsloven.

The first point of contact related to any concern is the teacher or staff member in question. All staff members have the same email structure except the principal. If your question or concern is not addressed in a satisfactory manner, you can then email the head of department, or the coordinator if it is related to the curriculum. Their addresses are as follows:

If the matter is still not resolved, an email can be sent to the chair of the school board. The chair of the board is Henning Gruehagen: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Parents can then raise their concern with Statsforvalteren if they feel the school has not addressed their concern in a satisfactory fashion. More information can be found by clicking the link below.
