Farsi story telling

Farsi story telling happened yesterday in Grade 1, 2B and 5. A big thank you to Zinat (Monica's mum), Monica for translating and Elnaz (Taha's sister) for taking the time to come in and share their home language with us. Also, thanks to the students who shared their culture and language in our January assemblies. 

It has been a great opportunity for all the boys and girls to share in this wonderful language that is spoken by over 100 million people around the world. 

February will bring a new focus language and culture - so keep an eye on our webpage for more information!

Student-Led Conferences rescheduled

Student-Led Conferences rescheduled

The Student-Led conferences will be re-scheduled to Wednesday 2nd March. This is due a timetable clash, where a large number of students are off-site on Wednesdays for skiing activities. 
 
More information about schedules will be provided by the grade teachers nearer the date.

Disco Night - date confirmed

More information will be shared with the students closer to the date. For now, we have put up some posters to generate some interest.

Grade 1 parents will be organising this event in collaboration with other parents in the school and school administration.

School Calendar - January to June 2016

Dear parents and guardians, 
 
Please ensure you have an overview of the days the school is closed  from January to June. These days are listed on the parent handbook, which you can access by clicking here. The calendar has been made into a simple jpeg which you can save to your phone. 
 
Please note - we will offer SFO services during the winter break (more information will follow), but not during the Easter break, or any of the other public holidays or planning days. 
 
Other dates, such as class breakfatsts, guest speakers and more,  will appear on the calendar and we will try to give as much notice as possible.
