This week is academic integrity week at Asker International School. During this week, the teachers will cover topics such as: 

- Copyright

- Visual, recordings, YouTube, music, movies

- How to reference (Harvard) books and newspapers

- Direct and indirect quotes

- Authentic referencing

- How to reference (Harvard) Internet Articles

- How to paraphrase

- Plagiarism

The principal will also hold a session for parents on Friday morning from 09:00, 6th January. 

This is an important and transferable skill that is relevant in all tiers of education. We hope all benefit from this week of learning. 

Happy New Year 2017!

Today we had an assembly about the importance of choice. We watched two videos on the topic (shared on our facebook page), one from our very favourite youtuber - kid president! 

We also saw some gymnastics performances from grades 2 and 4. 

Mr. Andrew also announced the winner of the Pitch PerfectHouse Competition. 

Mr. Robert also took the opportunity to hand out some rare gold certificates to a selection of students that have demonstrated positive behaviour and mindset on many occasions. Congratulations to these boys and girls for their continued effort. 

WINTER CONCERT RAFFLE

Raffle tickets for the Winter Concert Raffle will be sold at school on Thursday 8th December and on the day of the concert, the 14th of December.

The price of one raffle ticket will be 20 kroner. Please bring cash.
