17th May celebrations

Yet another wonderful celebration on 17th May. The weather Gods were kind again, after a heavy downpour during the night, the clouds cleared and left us with a sunny day to be enjoyed by all. 

The parent volunteers from grade 2 did a wonderful job and reminded us that the most important element for 17th May celebrations was very much present - people. 

And those people, our parents and our community, brough a wonderful array of foods - both sweet and savoury - for all to enjoy. 

There were also some wonderful games and prizes lined up for the children. 

Finally, we had a lovely speech from the student council president and a wonderful acapella rendtion from a grade 5 student.
