Rugby Training – a visit from New Zealand

Asker International School was visited by a New Zealand Sevens Rugby team, the Pirates, who are in country for a 7s competition called TabuSoro Valhall Seven’s taking place on March 20th at Vallhall arena.

Thanks to the efforts of David Scavera, representing Blindern Rugby Klubb and our own Andrew Johns, grade 6 teacher and PE teacher for the school, we had a wonderful day event with grades 5 and 6.

The kids were fully engaged and enjoyed a display of the Haka as an added bonus. We were also very happy to have a visit from Budstikka newspaper.
