No coffee morning tomorrow
Apologies for the late notification but there will be no coffee morning tomorrow. We had our first planning session today with staff and it was quite productive and there was a very positive energy – we were all very excited about school start.
We used the first part of the day to discuss the direction and vision of the school and introduced ourselves as it was the first time some of us met.We also spent a large proportion of the day revising and finalising the anti-bullying policy and I will share all the policies on our school webpage as they become available. Over the next few days we will be revising policies such as our assessment policy, revising the maths curiculum, attending a first aid course and much more. Please keep an eye on the school webpage for updates, for example information on the first school trip, information on the first school day and more. Also, I posted some information on the webpage about a suggested date for the first parent association meeting. I think it is good to start as soon as school starts, get representatives in place and set up a target for the first year. I have full confidence that the school will grow quickly and we have to make sure we are all pushing in the same direction. Looking forward to the first day of school!
